MW2 Equipment

Throwing Knife

Advantages:

- It only takes 1 hit to kill an enemy.

- You can pick them back up after throwing, even pull them out of the enemy you just killed

Disadvantages:

- The aim on these isn't great and like everything needs practice, its kinda like firing grenade launchers..

Tactical Insertion

Advantages:

- Marks your respawn spot works good in Headquarters.

- If you have a good spot that's hard to get to put a tactical insertion there and no more worries.

Disadvantages:

- They take about 5 seconds to use.

- They glow a pretty bright green light making them easy for enemies to spot. Tactical Insertions can be destroyed or even worse enemies can wait beside them till you respawn to get an easy kill.

- Having a TI equipped means you cant have claymore or frag but used along wit one man army takes care of that.

Blast Shield

Advantages:

- Less explosive damage from grenades, claymores etc good for headquarters, domination etc

Disadvantages:

- It replaces your equipment frag, claymore etc...

- With this equipped you cant see as well

Claymore

Advantages:

- If placed correctly can wrap up a lot of kills especially equipped with scavenger.

- They provide great protection, even if some one manages to get by you are normally close enough to hear it blow. So you can be waiting for the enemy to come around the corner.

Disadvantages:

- They can some times easily be spotted especially with sit-rep.

- With scavenger equipped you can only plant two claymores at a time. Which sucks but you see where their coming from. There would be claymores everywhere.

-Scrambler Pro delays claymore's letting the enemy sneak up behind you.

C4

Advantages:

- They are usually very hard to see..

- They stick to anything this is especially handy for Search and Destroy and Headquarters.

- They have higher damage than Claymore.

Disadvantages:

- You have to remotely detonate C4.

Stun Grenades

Advantages:

- They have a pretty long range and you can throw them pretty far.

- They are good up against multiple enemies in a group.

Disadvantages:

- They don't have much damage but you can kill someone if their life is low or in hardcore modes.

- They don't always work as well as you would hope depends on where they land beside the enemy.

Flash Grenades

Advantages:

- They also have a pretty long range.

- They completely blind the enemy.

Disadvantages:

- They don't have much damage but you can kill someone if their life is low or in hardcore modes.

- They don't always work as well as you would hope depends on where they land beside the enemy. You can move when flashed.

Smoke Grenades

Advantages:

- You can get good distance with these.

- Smoke grenades give great cover.

- They last quite a bit providing really good cover.

Disadvantages:

- Thermal Scopes see right through smoke. So your enemy can see you if they have thermal equipped and you dont have cold blooded.

- There is no damage from smoke grenades.

- The enemy will also be covered by your smoke.

Frag Grenades

Advantages:

- Frags have very long range and you can throw these halfway across a lot of maps. They roll and bounce very similar to real Grenades.

- You can bounce Frags off doors and walls into a room, keeping you nice and safe. Cooking the grenade first can be a huge advantage.

- Cooking a grenade means holding onto it for a couple of seconds and releasing at the perfect time to kill your enemy and not give him the chance to get away. It takes a lot of practice to time it correctly but once mastered the enemy will have trouble running away when the grenade explodes when the grenade explodes as soon as its thrown in front of them.

Disadvantages:

- Frags make a loud distinctive sound when they hit the ground allowing the enemy time to run away.

- Frags can be picked up and thrown back, this can be an advantage and disadvantage. It is advised to cook grenades before you throw, not giving the enemy a chance to throw it back.

Semtex

Advantages:

- Just like a frag but it sticks to anything even the enemy not giving them a chance.

- They don't cook like frags so less likely to blow yourself up, they also have a shorter fuse.

Disadvantages:

- They make a loud beeping sound giving them away.

- Being sticky you cant bounce these off doors and walls.
